M: When you just type 'Douglas', there are too many douglas come up.. We just played the song is called 'brides ammunition' which is 5th song from album called Modest hate age (naoko note: is it correct?) R: They are English band. M: This was released in 1988. From England. I only thing I know about it is Nicolas Curie.. Ah it's West England. So he is helped this album. R: To me the vocal sounds a bit like Brian Ferry. M: Year the way he sings is very English. R: Definitely not American! It's pop but definitely this can't be born in America. R: I remember at the time, new wave was popular.. well this album isn't really new wave, anyway, when you buy new wave records, they used to have 2 sets of records and one was 12" and the other was not. M: Oh year! I remember that! only one record was 12" R: Year they weren't normal 2 x 12". It's like they were like saying 'we are not a normal 2x12" album!' M: Marketing?? R: Era of Cynic M: Yeah.. but you would get excited when you get something extra. So, it was「brides ammunition」by DOUGLAS. R: 88'. From which label? M: Label is called 'suburbs of hell' never heard of them. R: Me neither. L: If you google the label name and name of the band, maybe you will find them.
