One of my greatest talents is bridging the gap between technology and business. It allows me to improve understanding, communication and collaboration. My career path began as a computer science major in college. Not only was it interesting, I saw computer programming as a cross between science and art. That appealed to the artist in me. I believe a culture of innovation is what sets businesses apart and delivers competitive advantages. I encourage experimentation that’s tied to desired outcomes. I’m proud to have filed 3 patents for vital signs monitoring platform to help seniors remain independent by connecting them to caregivers and clinicians. Throughout my career, I’ve been known for my commitment to high standards and putting employees first. I’m happy to be seen as a mentor by staff who report to me and the people where I’m consulting. I’ve found creating a safe space and carefully listening to understand the issue is a precursor to providing guidance and advice. We accomplished a lot during my Blue Cross Blue Shield Association tenure; now I’m looking for my next challenge.
