Summary
I am a writer and start-up consultant focused on solar power generation technologies and hyper-efficient storage systems such as green hydrogen. The result? How about smarter more profitable charging and solutions? I'm most passionate about working with early- to mid-stage organizations focused on ever-optimizing efficiencies and more ambitous projects--including the re-definition of the Grid itself to include self-healing mechanism. Applications include passenger transportation charging, microgrids, and novel energy storage and transmission use cases--and beyond. Many of my clients have won awards during our collaboration, including 1st place in the 11th Hour Project, as well as the XPrize. In 2020, for a global design competition, I launched a design team focused on integrating innovation, appropriate technology, and regenerative design --positioning it as a programable platform for scientific investigation, visitor access, celebration of the arts, wellness and enjoyment. For the team, I invited such pioneers as the visionary builder of the most energy-efficient apartment building in a major US city (a "nanogrid") as well as a senior architectural design professor at CCA--both located in San Francisco. Our design would be powered by Sollector Systems, a solar start-up in which I am a partner, with its acclaimed solutions (Cleantech Open Western Regional 2nd place). Our minimalist design placed first in its class in the 2020 international LAGI contest and 15th of 50 overall. Recently, I introduced two colorful CEOs with bold visions along with their respective uniquely disruptive technologies in the energy delivery and transportation verticals. Due in no small part to my keen insights and persistence in my mutual introductions, their firms are progressing toward a likely joint venture. I have also advised visionaries and thought leaders in the non-profit realm. My contributions have been recognized in Rainforest Action Network's 2000 annual report. I've been invited to edit books and write articles on topics ranging from non-profit management to social impact for well-known blogs such as Treehugger.
