Summary
I help people appreciate data, science, and each other. I'm an award-winning innovator and an expert mid-level biostatistician and health data scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim. I've worked on real world evidence, patient-reported outcomes, sensors, medical devices, market access, digital endpoints, health IT, and clinical trials in academia and industry. I'm skilled in designing and conducting statistical analyses in digital health, healthcare, population health, startups, and oncology. I have a strong record of thought leadership, public speaking, media appearances, publishing, mentoring, inclusive leadership, and leading teams. All of my views, opinions, reactions, comments, and reposts represent no one but me. They do not represent any of my employers. • • • 📊 Health data scientist and biostatistician. 🎙️ I created Stats-of-1, a health innovation newsletter/podcast—featured in Forbes and Fortune—on n-of-1 trials, single-case designs, switchback experiments, and personal AI for digital health/medicine. And I invented a patent-pending method using my n-of-1 time series causal inference framework. ⚖️ I'm also an inclusive leader at the JEDI Outreach Group of the American Statistical Association. 🇵🇭 As a neurodivergent Filipino American immigrant and lifelong trained musician, I bring a unique perspective to all of my work. 🎶 1️⃣ "Pivot the RCT—one participant at a time." statsof1.org • We help you use your own data to learn about yourself—a statistical “population-of-one” (Daza, 2018; tinyurl.com/yxtchbnw)—and which of your habits are worth changing. How? Thorough statistical, causal, and AI "inference for the individual" by running your causal digital twin through a simulated crossover RCT (n-of-1 trial, switchback experiment, randomized time series).
