Eric Kmiec

Summary

Eric is a seasoned Silicon Valley entrepreneur with over three decades of experience in bringing to the global marketplace large scale telecommunications infrastructure and next-generation Internet technologies that have translated into several innovative products and solutions. Eric has held key leadership roles at various multinational telecommunications and data networking equipment manufacturers as well as innovative Silicon Valley startups. He spent the majority of his technical career advancing the wireless communications industry, where he introduced several state-of-the-art communications platforms to the world, including the launch of the first digital cellular network within the United States. Eric is the Founder and CEO of GoEducate and manages the company’s day­ to ­day operations and leads the overall product vision and business strategy. GoEducate was founded to create the first education to workforce platform designed to help students find their purpose and put them on an education pathway that exposes them to the world of work, helping them prepare for the future and transition into adulthood. GoEducate is the first in the nation, navigation education platform that creates a seamless guided education experience starting in high school through higher Ed and into the workforce. Eric was the recipient of the 2013 "Innovator & Entrepreneur of the year" award by I&E Society and Modern Renaissance Corporation. The award was in recognition of an inventive mindset, ingenious design and innovative framework for ‘SONO’; a collaboration and knowledge management platform that enables and promotes the creation, harnessing and sharing of knowledge. Eric's focus and work has brought communications to over 75 countries and is used by millions of people around the world. Eric is a United States Air Force Veteran with a technical background in Electrical Engineering and Electronics, with advanced studies in Space Communications and Heavy Earth Station Operations.
