Summary
Eric M. Jackson is a strategic advisor and technology executive who played a critical role in building PayPal and subsequently created multiple technology businesses. He's also the author of "The PayPal Wars," an award-winning book hailed as a "page turner" by management guru Tom Peters. Shortly after graduating from Stanford University, Jackson was recruited by Peter Thiel to join an obscure startup named Confinity, which would later rebrand as PayPal. During his time there, Jackson personally implemented the company's revenue model and managed its product marketing efforts. While he was there, PayPal grew to 25M users, went public, and was acquired by eBay. In the years since, Jackson has founded venture-backed technology startups and served on the boards of multiple organizations. He currently consults for companies with a focus on business strategy, fintech, and artificial intelligence (AI).
