Summary
** I RARELY LOOK AT LINKEDIN - PLEASE CONTACT ME ON TWITTER OR EMAIL ** ** DEFINITELY NOT LOOKING FOR A JOB; PLEASE, RECRUITERS, CHILL OUT :-) ** With over 20 years' experience, Eric's career as a product and project manager, software engineer and technical executive features world-class internet brands and a strong understanding of and appreciation for excellent user interface and user experience (UI/UX). Called upon by Tesla Motors to help solve the unique marketing and e-commerce challenges inherent in selling a $100,000 car over the internet, Eric co-led the project to create the first web site for Tesla, supporting the launch of the world’s first fully electric production sports car. Through his agency brand, Themepark.com, Eric also managed the creation and launch of bespoke sites for clients ranging from SIRIUS Satellite Radio and Century 21 Real Estate to CBS Television and Scholastic’s Klutz Press. In addition to a passion for technology, Eric is a powerful and prolific communicator, and has written articles for over a dozen magazines in topics ranging from technology and Silicon Valley to general-interest news. He excels at taking complicated technical concepts and breaking them down so they can be easily understood. Eric started his career coding for the Apple II computer. He was one of the creators of HyperStudio, the groundbreaking hypermedia software for K-12 students. HyperStudio was a game-changer for educational software (Tech & Learning Magazine named HyperStudio one of the "best pioneering software offerings from the 20th century"); it was recognized with numerous accolades including "Best Educational Software" and "Best Multimedia Achievement" awards from Apple. Eric has also appeared on seven game shows and has not only won a pile of cash and prizes, but can also jump up and down and clap enthusiastically on demand.
