Ethan Klos is the Treasurer for the City of Arlington, TX. Responsibilities include Debt financing, Investments, Cash, Bank relationships, Credit Card relationships and revenues for the City. I regularly update the Office of the City Manager and City Council with regards to debt issuances and expected tax revenues. I work closely with all departments in evaluating Capital Improvement budgets. Formerly the Manager of Treasury Operations for Mervyns LLC. His responsibilities included managing the Treasury Operations staff, SOX compliance for Cash, Bank and Credit Card relationship, Bank Account Administration, as well as projects, which have included PCI, Bank Fee analysis and reduction, Sarbanes Oxley. During his 4+ years with Mervyns and Ross, he has supervised Analysts and clerks. Prior to these his main focus was Investment Management and Global Cash Management at Sun Microsystems, Applied Materials and Dell Computer. He holds an MBA from Texas Southwest University and a BS in Radio-Television-Film from University of Texas at Austin.
