Summary
Technology is everywhere. What was designed to make our lives simple has become more and more complex. Our data is now everywhere and we want access to it at all times. Like the lights in our homes, we want to flip the switch and just have it work. I make the complex simple. Over many years as a technologist, I've worked with individuals and companies, helping them understand and use their technology. I make it a tool, not a burden. After getting a Bachelors of Engineering and an MBA, I started my career in the IT department of JP Morgan. Over the next few years, I moved from running cable under data center floors to writing software and eventually, to managing the support team for the Futures and Options Operations Desks around the world. I learned that technologist speak their own language and that the rest of the world doesn't like to speak tech. I also learned I have a knack for bridging that gap. I grew my skills and experience at 2 more banks and a few dot-coms before offering my services directly to businesses, their owners and their employees. in 2007, I turned that into a company that took it beyond just me and what I could offer. It includes help desk services, project management and implementation and strategic planning. But in the end, it's about one thing... Making the complex simple.
