Summary
Fabrice Cavarretta is a researcher and professor specializing in managerial paradigms at the intersection of complexity, artificial intelligence, and theories of action. His work examines how organizational actors develop reasoning logics in uncertain contexts. His research appears in Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Leadership Quarterly. He leads interdisciplinary research projects integrating AI and big data analysis, and participates in recent CY University grant using natural language processing to study climate change discourse. He teaches leadership and intrapreneurship in master's programs and executive education for clients like Goldman Sachs, LVMH, and Samsung. He is the author of "Yes! France is a Paradise for Entrepreneurs" (Plon, 2016) and "Please Mind Your Ecosystems: On Our Relationship to Nature and Society" (Payot, 2024, with Eric Lenoir). He regularly writes about AI's implications for management and society, publishing in IEEE Access on AI analysis techniques and creating thought pieces like "So many ways to be wrong about the future of AI, but it'll outsmart us in the end." He has also developed an experimental "eProfessor" using generative AI to enhance learning experiences. Before academia, he spent 12 years in operational management as a Silicon Valley software engineer, division director at Vivendi Universal, and founder of a pioneering social network startup. He holds degrees from École Polytechnique, Stanford/ENSTA, Harvard Business School, and a PhD from INSEAD.
