Summary

While stationed here in Hong Kong for the past 23 years (15 years in Australia prior to HK) focusing mainly in marketing and creative advertising roles, the last few have seen much of my role as an "ideas man" transforming into unique brands of lifestyle products for the region. Creating niche luxury lifestyle labels from the grounds up, brand creative and image building, retail, wholesale and export negotiations, grassroot communication, to corporate joint promotions, much of these activities have been possible due to the nature of my beliefs, that anything is possible if you believe in your designs, and confident about your ideas-concepts. People will see what you envision and support you if you are genuine. SLACK Lifestyle - our core business in relaxation furnishing design (check out our most recent design stories on www.facebook.com/slacklifestyle), is one of four brands created since 2000, winning "Best Seating 2005-2006" in Elle Decoration (HK)'s International Design Awards (EDIDA). SLACK also became a Nominee in the global EDIDA for Best Seating 2006, held in Milan, Italy, and, a Finalist in the DFA - Design For Asia - Awards 2006, chosen from over 500 international design entries. SLACK was also a merit award winner in the prestigious HKDA 2007, for Best Product - Furniture. In 2009, from the Tuinidee Awards in the Netherlands, SLACK Lifestyle won the award for Innovative Garden Idea. Specialties: concepts and product design, brand building and marketing, import export negotiations, sourcing and manufacturing.
