Summary
39 years Financial Services IT experience with 23 years operating at board and senior leadership level. Worked for BIS Banking Systems (now part of Misys), Terence Chapman Associates, ABS Consultants, and have been a board director of Braid (sold to Mercator), City Networks, and Century 24 Solutions (which I was a co-founder of in 2000 up until the company's acquisition by Iona Technologies Ltd in 2007 who in turn were acquired by Progress Software in 2008). Headhunted to join Volante Technologies Inc in 2010 to start up and run their EMEA Operations and implement cross organisational change. Joined Open Banking Limited (OBL) in 2021 to head up the development of the UKs Open Banking Standards. Specialties: board level experience of initiating and managing operational change in a highly commercial environment. Also significant experience of business analysis, project management, STP consultancy, pre-sales, marketing, presentation and media skills, Subject matter expertise in Financial Messaging and application integration particularly with respect to SWIFT/ISO 20022, Real Time Payments, FpML, FIX, CREST, regulatory reporting and domestic payments Standards, which I have 30+ years experience of.
