Summary
I have experience writing and editing long technical books, articles, product descriptions, PSAs and promotional copy. Additional experience is in maintaining databases, providing informal technical support for computers & hand-helds, designing & developing ecommerce websites, promoting arts events, public presentations and performances, herding arts kittens, nursing non-profits on shoe-string budgets, self-publishing & performing spoken word. Oh, and I learned patience at the hands of Messrs. Turner & Lucas, doing my own maintenance on an old Triumph motorcycle. My goals are to leverage my education in the field I studied for, pursue my curiosity about beauty and data, enjoy the Arts from both sides of the footlights, and try to keep my motorcycle running. I prefer jobs that provide variety and the opportunity to learn new skills, especially if they mesh with existing ones to prove me with a broader experience base. Specialties: What am I good at? Well, I can explain things really well to all kinds of people and in the end, isn't communication what it's all about?
