Summary
My media and technology market research career started in 1979 where I was hired as a sales executive for SRI Research Center, Inc. In 1982 I was named Vice President and was manager of our International research, technology research and media research divisions. In 1983 I participated in the acquisition of Gallup of Canada and was concurently Vice President of Sales for Gallup of Canada. In 1985-86 I participated in the first stage of the acquisition of the Gallup Organization--forming SRI-Gallup, a jointly held company. I was named Senior Vice President of SRI-Gallup and sat on its Board of Directors. In 1986 I came to Fairfield as a minority stock holder and its Executive Vice President. In 1989 I became the majority stockholder after a leveraged buy out of the company. I have served in the capacity of CEO since that time. Fairfield has conducted numerous technology and media research studies across the world for the largest of companies including IBM, Sun, Nintendo, Sony, Sega, Microsoft, etc. Fairfield has a client base numbering in the hundreds and continue to provide the market research of tomorrow...today. Specialties: Since 1984, Fairfield has conducted thousands of research studies with regard to IT and entertainment technology. We have a database of entertainment and media technology consumer trends from 1984 and inclusive of all major media-technology platforms including VCRs, PCs, video game systems, MP3, CD-ROM, DVD, Internet, etc.
