Summary

July 2017, I was very happy to appoint Andy Chinn as our MD and stand down to the fun role of Strategic Director. Andy has been with us 20+ years and been in a commercial role for 14 years. Mark continues to lead our excellent and growing technical team as technical director and Tina does a great job looking after our finance, admin and HR. It is very rewarding to see the company continue to strengthen its unique position in CAE geometry, working with stimulating groups in major industries and universities. After 17 years focussing on general purpose CAE pre- and post-processing software with our flagship FAM (Field Analysis Modelling) package, we introduced our CADfix geometry repair and healing product which now has thousands of installations worldwide. We continue with our old CAE strength in the form of CAE customisation services with long established clients like BAE, BOEING, SAAB and ABB. We believe we are the best in the world at connecting CAD and CAE! Specialties: An emerging, strength is our Medial Object technology, more usually called Medial Axis Transformation, but being marketed by our company as Geometry Reasoning, because that is what it is used for. We now have several collaborative projects in Geometry Reasoning and I firmly believe that one day it will be the 'laser' of CAD, meaning that tool whose value is initially highly questionable, but then becomes ubiquitous.
