Summary
Spent career in Silicon Valley, primarily in the semiconductor and EDA industries. Started at Fairchild Semiconductor in 1965, straight out of college where I made many longtime friends and business relationships. Left Fairchild for VLSI Technology, a startup founded by Jack Balletto. Next LSI Logic > Telebit > Applied Materials > Crosspoint > The Leapfrog Group. At Leapfrog, co-founded with partners Larry Bender & Ricardo "Kim" Alfaro, we worked primarily with startups in the EDA & semi sectors, doing branding, company & product launches, PR, advertising, brochures & collateral, corporate ID, tradeshows, the whole shebang. It was an amazing ride! Now retired, living primarily in Menlo Park and still doing non-profit work. Continue involvement with semiconductors with focus on the Stanford Silicon Genesis program.
