Summary
35+ years experience as a founder, lawyer, investor, and engineer – I love to support, empower, and just be in the room with visionary tech leaders. I've raised capital, closed acquisition deals, and otherwise helped build companies worth tens of billions. My last day job was cofounder and CLO of Forge, which went public in 2022. Before that I ran a boutique startup law firm that was first outside legal counsel to Craigslist, Linkedin, OpenTable, On24, and hundreds of others. My personal expertise is startup law, private equity, corporate structure and finance, business transactions, and patents and trademarks. I'm now in senior mentor mode, decompressing in Hawaii while looking for the next big thing. I also run Luca Ventures, which invests in late stage secondaries and pre-seed fintech and dev ops startups.
