Summary
Computer scientist, focusing on Artificial Intelligence and statistical methods. Agile software executive and architect. Led agile transformations and ongoing activities in several companies, focusing on organizational productivity, quality, scalability, and innovation. I've often led product, software engineering, operations, and user experience departments. I have helped employees and friends develop their effectiveness and careers (and I'm grateful that many former employees remain good friends). Of course, this promotes company success. I co-founded three startups, bringing two to financial liquidity in executive roles. I have published peer-reviewed computer science research on agile management, machine learning, parallelism and hardware architecture. I am fluent in TypeScript/JavaScript ES6, React/Remix, Python, MongoDB, Java, C++, SQL, and many other languages. I hold a computer science PhD from UCLA (statistics, parallelism, and optimization). I co-founded a couple of startups focusing on collaborative filtering (leveraging similarities between people and things to help everyone).
