Greg is a technology enthusiast with an affinity for business. Currently, Greg works for the National Research Council's Industrial Research Assistance Program as an Industrial Technology Advisor, providing advice and support to innovative companies. Previously, Greg was an investor and Chief Operating Officer at Panacis, a high-growth electronics product design start-up that ranked three years in a row on the PROFIT 100 list of Canada's fastest growing companies. Greg started his professional career in 1998 on the BlackBerry marketing launch team at Research In Motion. Acting occasionally in his career as an independent management consultant, Greg has provided operational and financial strategy and support to small technology firms. Greg holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
