Summary
My current research centers on the history, culture, geography, and religious traditions of Tibet, with a particular emphasis on pre-1959 developments. I am actively seeking opportunities to contribute to academic research projects that require rigorous analytical skills, including but not limited to financial analysis within the context of Tibetan studies. My master’s thesis investigates the fiscal structures and economic administration of the Tibetan government prior to 1959, a field in which primary numerical data is notably scarce. To address these challenges, I engage extensively with both Tibetan and Chinese sources. Principal references for my research include Iron Tiger (utilizing both Tibetan and Chinese materials) and the eighth and ninth volumes of Water Sheep in the Tibetan language. While additional sources inform my work, these texts constitute the core of my primary source analysis. I welcome collaboration with scholars and institutions engaged in Tibetan studies or related interdisciplinary projects, and am eager to apply my expertise in historical and financial analysis to broader academic inquiries.
