Summary

I develop marketing strategies that move hearts and minds – and the bottom line. And it all starts with the brand. I take a customer-obsessed, data-informed approach to crafting a vision and story that rejuvenates brands and builds global businesses. I’ve done this at scrappy startups (Over, purchased by GoDaddy; TripIt, purchased by Concur; PayCycle, purchased by Intuit) as well as large public companies (SanDisk, Plantronics). A little more about me... • Experience spans brand, growth, and product marketing -- with expertise in both online and offline advertising • Began my marketing career at global ad agencies Leo Burnett and McCann Erickson, building consumer brands for Fortune 500 CPG clients • Managed direct reports across five continents; worked overseas twice (Poland, South Africa) • Recruited, mentored, inspired, and retained engaged, high-performing teams ranging in size from 2 to 30+ FTEs • Honed my analytical skills as a financial analyst at CS First Boston early in my career; I’ve forged data-driven “test and learn” cultures within my marketing teams ever since • Known for taking an inclusive, collaborative approach to galvanize cross-functional, global teams toward a shared vision • Earned my BA in Economics at Stanford and my MBA in Marketing at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. I also studied English Literature and Economics at Oxford. A little more about me, outside of work... I am passionate about exploring the world (50 states and 90+ countries and counting), creating (photography, pottery, woodworking), and enjoying the outdoors (hiking, kayaking, swimming). I am also proud to partner with the Kellermann Foundation to fund the education of Batwa children in the Bwindi region of Uganda. I'm open to roles in SF Bay, Denver, NY, Boston, and overseas.
