Summary

I am passionate about improving health equity and healthcare outcomes. Throughout my career, I have worked in various settings to address health disparities, from a nationally recognized hospital system, to a local foundation, behavioral healthcare agency and public school district. As a consultant, I currently help organizations determine how their work can be more impactful. This can include feasibility studies, program development, strategic planning, assessment and evaluation. I am a problem solver, skilled at organizational and business operations, grant making, program/policy development, execution and evaluation. I work to create innovative approaches to address social determinants of health in the community. I have designed strategic programs and have identified and fostered grant-funded initiatives for organizations. Use of community-based research and community leadership have created measurable outcomes towards improving health equity. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders and centering lived experience is important to me. Working in coalition and on various public-private partnership opportunities (eg: Healthy Food for Ohio and the Ohio Regional Convergence Partnerships) I have addressed issues such as access to healthy food, access to healthcare and story telling. I have presented on topics related to Food Access, Rapid Response Funding and Health Care Reform nationally and at the local level.
