Summary
After graduating from Kumamoto University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, I worked for a magazine company in Tokyo for 2 and a half years, moving to New York to further my study of sociology at the City University of NY. During that period, I worked as editor-in-chief for Tech Wire Japan. After moving back to Tokyo, I was a contributing author on articles for various magazines. I am a published author of the book “The Emerging Companies of Silicon Alley,” and co-author of several other books, including “Blog: 5 Minute Word-of-Mouth Promotions,” “Bloggers,” “Everybody’s Blog,” “Web Master," and “Earth Reports.” I also translated various books, films, and documentaries and co-hosted a radio show. Following the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, I moved to Washington State and completed my Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology at Northwest University in July 2016. After working for a local community mental health agency, SOUND, for five years, I am currently working as an onsite mental health therapist at Microsoft.
