Summary
Rob is the founder of Kindred Motorworks and is an experienced automotive, technology and supply chain leader. He founded, scaled and sold two previous start-ups to public companies. He most recently worked as part of the Target leadership team after their acquisition of Grand Junction in 2017. Prior to Target, Rob was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Grand Junction, which was the leading SaaS technology platform for managing same day delivery programs for retailers, distributors and 3PLs. Previously he was Founder and CEO of the supply chain company, Ensenda, which he grew to become the country's largest third-party logistics (3PL) provider focused on local delivery before he sold it to Transforce (TSE:TFI). Rob is a board member at Shipt and Boxbot. He is also a past board member of Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco and of the Customized Logistics and Delivery Association. He raised over $100 million in venture capital and angel money for the companies he founded. He's a frequent speaker on the supply chain, retail, mobility and technology and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, the San Francisco Chronicle and many others. His experience with start-ups, venture capital, private equity, logistics, automotive and retail are unique. He holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Yale University.
