This led me from tech CEO in NY to Managing Director in London investment banks to Founding Partner of an accelerator in Hong Kong and now co-founder of a global knowledge platform in Fintech. I also love teaching - at scale - and co-created some of the largest Fintech courses in the world (Oxford Said Business School / Hong Kong University / Imperial College and now CFTE) As CEO of The Disruptive Group, I am developing a firm that builds innovative finance businesses with a strong leverage on technology and advises CEOs of large organisations. One of TDG's projects is CFTE, which we co-founded with Tram Anh Nguyen. CFTE is the answer to a very simple question: as a professional in financial services, how do I acquire the skills to be future-proof? The question is simple, but the solution is hard, because there is much knowledge to acquire, the industry is changing all the time, and professionals don't have time to learn. Together with hundreds of experts (from heads of innovations in banks to CEOs of challenger banks and CEOs of Fintech VCs), we have created a platform that helps the industry acquire this knowledge quickly, from Fintech to Artificial Intelligence to Open Banking. CFTE is based in London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi, and works with most Tier 1 financial institutions. Previously, as Managing Director at Citi, I grew a business that helped Europe's largest insurance companies, the major pension funds and the international banks to adapt to an increasingly complex environment. An engineer by background, an entrepreneur by nature, and a "big picture"​ person, I am interested in the tech revolution that is transforming finance - what I call Disruptive Finance. Put simply, we are facing a Napster moment : technology is set to revolutionise finance, which in turn will massively impact the global economy, business and society.
