Summary
I am a venture builder, whether it's a startup or corporate venture. I have a strong history of creating innovative ventures, business models, and services that aim to disrupt and transform industries. My analytical, strategic, and competitive nature drives me to work with extraordinary individuals, seeking gaps and challenging the status quo. I am passionate about bringing new ideas to life alongside ambitious and inspiring individuals who strive to make a significant impact. As a dedicated supporter of entrepreneurs and doers, I serve on several boards and advisory committees. My experience spans large global enterprises, scale-ups, and startups, with my primary strength lies in identifying patterns, trends, and opportunities for innovation. I excel at conveying these insights to engage others and build effective teams that develop lovable products, delighting millions of users. Currently, the industry faces a unique intersection between digitalization and sustainability. Leveraging my experience in traditional industries disrupted by digital advancements and new business models, Over the past decade, we have successfully raised over $10 million for three innovative startups. I contributed to the launch of Soundrop, a social and recommendation platform that brought Spotify's user experience. Later, Soundrop expanded with a vision of becoming a leading social marketing platform for the music industry. Our first venture capital-backed startup, Mobile CTI AS, led the way in developing mobile applications for first-generation smartphones. We introduced the world's first automatic caller ID service and SaaS platform for white and yellow pages. Garnering the title of "best mobile app" in both Norway and Scandinavia, our highly profitable SaaS business model thrived until its acquisition by Opplysningen 1881, a Telenor company. Our second startup, Numo, expanded on the knowledge gained in Norway and made a global impact. Recognized as the "most innovative startup" at the 2009 GSMA Mobile World Congress, Numo demonstrated our ability to translate regional success into international achievements. Additionally, I had the privilege of collaborating with the exceptional team at Opera Software, where I contributed my experience in startups and developer ecosystems. We explored new monetization strategies, mergers and acquisitions, and product innovations. Our efforts culminated in the launch of the Opera Mobile Store, seamlessly integrated into the Opera browser and serving over 300 million users worldwide.
