Summary
I have been working in "human communications" field, starting with printing, then moved into producing advertisements and public relations material targeting international market from Japan. In the early '80s, I became interested in using the Personal Computers and then encountered with PC networking and started to promote that in Japan, in the early '90s I encountered with the Internet and started to promote that globally. After the huge earthquake and Tsunami hit North East Japan in Mar 2011, we started a small volunteer group called Information Support pro bono Platform (iSPP) to help devastated people by using ICTs. Since 2012, I started to explore the new world of digital and social fabrication. In recent years, my focus include Open and Social Innovations, startup business, and policy issues around Platform Regulation, including Generative AI services.
