Summary
I work on the principle of solving problems that involve not only analysis of raw data but more importantly engagement of stakeholders. I enjoy gathering data and manipulating it to test hypotheses or to gain insight. I thrive in situations where I work collaboratively with team mates as well as stakeholders and customers. Using technology to solve problems can mean significant and transformational impacts on organisations. However change only comes with endorsement and sponsorship of relevant stakeholders. My unique background in consulting, analysis, research and sales and business development has provided me with the skills to not only understand business problems through detailed analysis but also the people skills to ensure these problems can be solved through clear communication, empathy and negotiation. My work has helped organisations to: • Drive efficiency and effectiveness of core applications to serve business needs through detailed documentation and communication between stakeholders and developers/vendors • Deliver enhanced experiences to customers, employees and third party channels • Increase revenue and decrease administrative overhead by establishing maturity and implementation models for technology adoption. • Improve IT service levels through documenting operational processes for software design. • Prove the capability of technology for business casing and return on investment proposals. Personally, I am someone who likes to work in supportive environments where individuals' contributions are recognised and where strengths are leveraged. I believe in managing through transparency where questions are encouraged and weaknesses explored with the goal of improvement.
