Here are some examples of my contributions: ♦ Crisis Management: I led a destination-wide communications coalition in responding to the 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas. The strategic approach helped to heal the community and restore visitation to the destination. ♦ Strategic Content Development: I created and led development of LasVegasNewswire.com. Generating 30K views a month, the online news site gained top awards and recognition as one of the first of its kind by a destination marketing organization. The site, in conjunction with social media channels, were instrumental in providing strategic and proactive channels to increase public understanding of the importance of the LVCVA’s work and the broader travel and tourism industry. ♦ Thought Leadership: I led proactive media relations to increase Live Nation’s positioning with investors and key stakeholders, securing an interview with the CEO and preparing him for CNBC’s high-profile segment Fast Money: Stocks on the Run. The segment generated inherently positive results: the company’s stock rose significantly in after-hours trading, and a strong relationship was established with the network and the CEO being asked to return for future Fast Money and Mad Money segments.
