My exits via acquisitions at Sapphire Ventures include AllyO (HireVue), Apigee (Google Cloud), CloudHealth (VMWare), Cyphort (Juniper Networks), ExactTarget (Salesforce), , GroundWork (Parallax), Jaspersoft (TIBCO Software), MuleSoft (Salesforce), MySQL (Oracle), Paytm (secondary sale to Alibaba), Portworx (Pure Storage), Punchh (PAR Technology), Socrata (Tyler Technologies) and Tealeaf (IBM). I also invested in Infinera (INFN), Photobit (MU), Primavera (ORCL) and Sygate (SYMC) prior to Sapphire Ventures. I spent seven years designing and building software applications as a lead architect and as a product manager at Oracle and at several start-ups. I was also an entrepreneur before deciding to focus on investing in high-growth technology start-ups. Prior to Sapphire Ventures, I worked at two corporate ventures including Intel Capital and Agilent Ventures (formerly part of Hewlett-Packard) and at MVC Capital. I received my MBA from University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business where I was awarded the George Hay Brown Prize for academic excellence. I got my Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Brown University.
