Summary

As a former professional ballerina, I'm used to staying on my toes. And, as a former journalist, I know how to get a message out to the masses, bringing more than 20 years of integrated marketing and public relations experience to my clients. My expertise includes successful work with both business-to-business and business-to-consumer clients, developing and implementing results-oriented programs which ultimately contribute to the bottom line. The strength in my expertise comes in my ability to synthesize information to effectively communicate actionable messages that resonate with businesses, consumers, media and key influencers. I have effectively created and managed different programs within a comprehensive marketing campaign – from message development and branding, to media and analyst relations, to collateral development, to Web site design and social media planning. My consulting background includes serving in senior management capacities with national PR firm Ketchum in Dallas and four independent PR agencies in Atlanta. My business, marketing and public relations work has been recognized with eight Phoenix awards from the Public Relations Society of America, Georgia Chapter, two AMY awards from the American Marketing Association and a MAX award for marketing excellence from Georgia State University. I hold a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of North Texas, majoring in public relations and minoring in business.
