Investment areas include consumer apps, marketplaces, enterprise software (given my background) and frontier tech (given my nerdiness). Previously COO at Wooga, a Berlin-based developer of mobile games (and a HV investment). At Wooga, I was responsible for launching and growing our games (including Marketing, User Acquisition, Analytics, Corporate Development, Operations, Japan Office etc). Before Wooga, I co-founded Hitmeister, an e-commerce marketplace later sold to Real – METRO Group. At Hitmeister I focused on Product & IT, including programming parts of the platform. Since 2007 I have been an angel investor in almost 20 companies. Examples include Audibene (sold to Sivantos/EQT), Blacklane, MAR (sold to Grünenthal Pharma), Wooga (sold to Playtika), Jodel, Equippo, Homeday (sold to Axel Springer/Purplebricks), Homelike, Selfapy.
