JD is a startup founder, entrepreneur, technologist and fiction author. He is co-founder of Cruiseable, providing consumers with a more modern cruise discovery, planning and booking process. He also co-founded Authors A.I., which uses artificial intelligence to give authors actionable insights on how to write a bestseller. J.D. has spoken about new technologies and media at the United Nations, Harvard, Stanford, MIT, Princeton and at dozens of conferences on four continents. He has spoken at South by Southwest three times and appeared on NPR twice. He has been named one of Silicon Valley's top 40 influencers, one of the top 100 influencers in social media, one of CNET's Top 100 Media Bloggers and one of the OnMobile Power Press100. JD was co-founder of Ourmedia.org, the world's first free video hosting and sharing site (launched in March 2005, six weeks before YouTube).
