Hold the position of Senior Information Security Architect, working across functional groups in a broad range of security-related activities at TIBCO Software, Inc., a leading global provider for over 25 years of infrastructure, analytics, and Cloud software; recently acquired and taken private by Vista Equity Partners • Report up through the Chief Engineer to provide security guidance to multiple software engineering teams, by driving a successful secure software development (S/SDLC) culture in TIBCO's Products and Technologies division • Evaluate new product security feature requirements and follow technical security developments in global standards, including cryptography, open standards, and security • Evaluate security aspects of software functional and design specifications, from choice of open source components to system architects and into product lifecycles • Assist software engineers in understanding a variety of technical requirements stemming from the need for regulatory compliance and global standards • Interact closely with teams in software Engineering, QA and support areas to understand and resolve identified problem areas, including triage of security issues • Evaluate SaaS Cloud offerings from data privacy and security perspectives and offer remediation advice or mitigation techniques
