Summary

With over 25 years experience as an innovation and design practitioner, I transform user insight, iterative prototyping and technology transfer into market demand. 

As Director of Innovation at InVue, I am responsible for innovation, technology development and intellectual property creation for all current and future product categories, spanning our Asset Protection, Access Control and Point of Sale businesses. In my current role at InVue I am named on 125+ US and international patents. From designing satellite hardware for NASA, to inventing toy & game concepts at IDEO, to transforming the customer experience at Bank of America, my interdisciplinary nature has always found me at the intersection of inspiring and synthesizing the efforts of inventors, designers, marketers, engineers, researchers, builders, and storytellers. I hold a BS in Engineering, Product Design from Stanford University, where I was awarded the Chilton Memorial Prize for "Excellence in Product Design." As a varsity wrestler and NCAA qualifier I was voted team captain by my teammates. To this day, people make fun of me for basing my "jeff167" lifetime gmail address on my college competition weight... a weight I have never seen again since graduating...
