Summary
I am a business strategist with a passion for innovative growth strategies. Whether I am in the role of author, speaker, community leader, CEO, investor or entrepreneur, I love to be right in the thick of things. That's why I founded CorePurpose, Inc. in 2002 and why today I work with an incredible team and inspiring member organizations at AZBio. My key focus is delivery of sustainable results by combining the experience, skills and talents within teams to create focused business environments that maximize innovation, growth, profitability and return on investment. I am especially interested in life science innovations and work closely with inspirig innovators focused on improving health. Prior to founding CorePurpose, I had the opportunity to work as part of the team at Avnet, Inc. (AVT) for over 20 years and gained experience in technology distribution, travelled the world, and held a wide range of positions in Management, Marketing, Sales, and Operations. This led to the opportunity to co-author the only college textbook on the subject with a team from Texas A&M. My work in the Arizona business community led to the opportunity to serve as CEO of ASBA (the Arizona Small Business Association) from December 2006 to December 2008, where I led a team of talented professionals in advocating business needs in Arizona and oversaw the development and delivery of programs that support business growth from revitalizing our small business healthcare program, to workplace safety initiatives, and the development of new tools for productivity including a 24-7 online workforce development system. Success to me is working as part of a team and developing and implementing solutions to business challenges that make a difference. After all, that's what innovation is all about.
