Summary
I am an investor, entrepreneur, advisor, educator and mentor with deep expertise in helping companies and organizations define their market and build powerful brands. Currently, I am the Executive Chairman of West Global, a marketing and creative firm. West partner companies include Twitter, Square, Impossible Foods, Inception Fertility, Honeybook, Proxy and New Front to name a few. I also serve on the corporate board of FICO (NYSE: FICO), Inception (Prelude) Fertility, Illumyn and Altro. I have served on the board of Care.com (NYSE: CARE), Leapfrog (NYSE: LEAP), Quinstreet (Nasdaq: QNST), Sabrix, Danger, Posit Science, Account Now, Post, The Coppola Company, National Venture Capital Association, NFTE, Endeavor, New Schools Venture Fund and as a Senior Partner of the B Team. I led the formation and capital raise for Endeavor Catalyst. I stepped out of my professional life and was a candidate for Mayor of San Francisco in November 2011. I have significant experience in venture capital, finance and investment banking as the Founder of VSP Capital, along with roles at BA Securities and Vrolyk & Co. My roots are in marketing and branding having held several senior marketing leadership positions with Groupe Danone and DMB&B. I was named a Global Leader for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum and a Henry Crown Fellow by the Aspen Institute. I am a Seminar Moderator for the Aspen Global Leadership Network. I am the Board Chair of The Representation Project and Him For Her. I also serve on the board of Endeavor Global. I have four inspiring adult children (ages 25 to 35) who are pursuing their own professional interests.
