Joe Arnold Co-Founded SwiftStack, Inc. in 2011, and currently serves as its President and Chief Product Officer. SwiftStack is a leading provider of storage and data management for data-intensive applications and workflows. SwiftStack’s data platform enables its customers to store, manage, control, and utilize many petabytes of unstructured data from edge to core to cloud. Its software is popular in industries like autonomous vehicles, media and entertainment, global service providers, life sciences, and web-based businesses; and for functions like deep learning, analytics, scientific research, and leveraging large asset repositories. SwiftStack is used by industry forerunners including eBay, NVIDIA, and Verizon. Joe's background in cloud-computing and infrastructure includes positions at Yahoo!, Aruba/HP and the first widely-used cloud platform-as-a-service on top of Amazon Web Services (Engine Yard). An advocate of lean development processes – specializing in Agile Methodologies (Extreme Programming, Scrum, Kanban, Lean), aligning business and engineering goals. Joe is the author of "Object Storage With Swift" (2014) published by O'Reilly Media. He has also authored a popular book on yo-yo techniques called "From Beginner to Spinner," published by Prima Publishing and is a 3D printing enthusiast.
