As the CEO of Miaplaza Inc., I'm focused on growing innovative learning sites and apps for kids in grades K-12. I am privileged to work with an exceptionally talented team of award-winning software developers and educators. The main sites operated by Miaplaza Inc. are www.miacademy.co (k-8) and www.miaprep.com (9-12th grade). In addition Miaplaza operates an online high school (www.miaprephigh.com). Our learning environments are characterized by offering a high level of interaction between members of the program as well as engaging, professionally produced teaching videos. Miaplaza has experienced annual growth rates of about 100% for 7 years. Before Miaplaza, I built Synesis, a management consulting company that operationalizes leading-edge research results on management practices and makes it relevant for real-world companies. Clients included Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Microsoft, Cisco, Applied Materials, Intuit, Daimler-Chrysler, Volkswagen, NTT Data, Nomura Research Institute, and other leading global corporations. Before founding Synesis, I was a researcher at GSB (Stanford Business School) and, together with Prof. Haim Mendelson, co-author of the book "Survival of the Smartest," which introduced the concept of measuring and improving "Organizational IQ" at corporations. Prior to that, I worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company in Europe and the Americas, focusing on the global high-tech industry.
