Summary

If we turn on the wayback machine...it says that I started my professional career as an adult education instructor in Oklahoma, teaching basic computer skills. From there I was introduced into computer hardware where I did some electronics R&D work and was introduced into networking, enterprise solutions and imaging/document management systems. In 1992, I took a position as a programmer for a software development company based in Greenbelt Maryland. I was mentored by the greatest analytical mind that ever lived, Michael Bennett. Mike cultivated a dormant interest in software design and development, and more importantly discovered a hidden passion for databases, process automation, and analytics. LSS sent me around the world; I made my mark in 9 countries. 29 days short of my 30th birthday, I became the VP of Information Systems at Community Credit Union in Plano Texas. While at CCU, I had the unique ability to build, from the ground up, a knowledge management and information-sharing infrastructure that united 32 locations and over 500 employees. With this infrastructure, we CHANGED the operating and strategic decision and knowledge management infrastructure and empowered the Credit Union to embark on an aggressive growth strategy. Thank you John Bock. After being "loaned" to CCU's core processor for almost a year, I decided to start my own Professional Services consulting company to aid Credit Unions in understanding, embracing, and implementing the very same concepts I helped design into the new credit union processor software. In the past 20+ years ID has covered a lot of territory. We've survived a changing industry and made our mark as leading innovators in the credit union business intelligence space. We've even outlived those Fortune 500 execs who said we wouldn't make it (and even tried to tip the scales unnaturally). We are wildly proud of our accomplishments with Data Librarian and VantEdge Point, bringing affordable Enterprise Data Warehousing, data management, and end-user-driven visualizations and analytics to the Credit Union Industry.
