Now on a linguistic journey to learn Spanish. John Holland was a Managing Director at BridgeStreet Partners. He was the ex-Managing Partner in Boyden’s San Francisco office. John was part of Boyden's Silicon Valley Technology Practice Group. In addition, he was part of Boyden's National Board of Directors Practice Group. With over 25 years of search experience, John has conducted searches on behalf of clients ranging from early-stage, venture-backed start-ups to large, multi-national companies. He has placed numerous Board Members, Chief Executive Officers, Chief Financial Officers, Chief Marketing Officers, Chief Information Officers and Chief Technology Officers, as well as Vice Presidents in engineering, marketing and sales. Before joining Boyden, John was a partner in the Silicon Valley office of Battalia Winston International. He served previously as Vice President at A.T. Kearney Executive Search, and as a partner in the Technology Practice of Ray & Berndtson (acquired by A.T. Kearney in 2002). John co-founded Holland, McFadzean & Associates (acquired by Ray & Berndtson in 1997). His earlier career includes tenure as Corporate Controller for California Circuit Engineering and as a registered representative with Walnut Street Securities. John began his career in General Electric’s Financial Management Training Program. John graduated from California State University, Chico, with a B.S. in Finance. He served on the Board for the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula and is passionate about helping disadvantaged youths.
