Summary
Undergraduate and Graduate at MIT in the early 80's. Then I worked on Vertical market airline scheduling software (Amsterdam was a fun place to work!) Then I worked on Professional Music Software Next came the software based video conferencing system that used 97% of the PC (ISDN based). Then was the video download over modems using our video conferencing codecs. Then came consulting all over the globe - from Florida, New Hampshire, California, and Nevada to Germany, Switzerland, and Singapore. I had a stint working with a international telecommunications operator, doing Windows Smartphone 2002 and Windows Mobile 2003 work. I had a stint working on citizen issue reporting software for large cities. Then I had a stint working on Diabetes Treatment Management software (my first software-as-a-medical-device, or SAMD, project). I spent a couple years working on Bose hearing aids (again, SAMD). I briefly worked on a software-enabled more effective way to treat High Blood Pressure (also as a SAMD)! I enjoy learning new things, shipping products, and making a difference in people's lives. Specialties: iOS, Android, MacOS Windows CE / XP / 2000 / 98 / 95 / WfW / 3.1 - everything from user interfaces to device drivers. I make things work.
