The Oceti Sakowin Power Authority is owned by 7 Sioux Tribes that share territory with South and North Dakota. The Tribes have combined their resources to develop a series of utility-scale wind farms that will sell power to corporate and utility buyers throughout the Midwest and beyond. The initial development project will produce over 800 MW of wind power and is slated to go online before 2030.
