Summary
As an entrepreneur, executive and investor, Ketan has played an integral role in building many of today's education technology businesses and currently serves as an advisor for several companies. Over 25 years, Ketan has co-founded/co-led several companies that have developed hardware and software products used and loved by millions in over 150 countries. At Edmodo, Ketan helped build and grow the world's largest community of K12 educators, students and parents to facilitate effective collaboration and communication. Edmodo was acquired by NetDragon (listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange). Prior to that he was also the CEO and co-founder of AlphaSmart, Inc (IPO, NASDAQ in February 2004). Before co-founding AlphaSmart, Ketan worked as part of Apple's staff, where he contributed to the success of several key products and services. In Fall 2009, he was awarded the Distinguished Alumnus Award by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Brigham Young University.
