I have formed and lead teams of world-class talent to deliver a number of industry firsts, including: • With Ab Initio, delivered multiple enterprise-scale parallel computing applications. • As the Founder and CEO of I-Play, the first and most successful mobile entertainment platform and publisher of its time, my team defined a new media sector by successfully uniting three disparate industries – digital interactive entertainment, the web and mobile networks – enabling new revenue streams for all participants. • As CTO of PlayPhone led a global team to create the first multi-channel mobile content delivery platform, including portals for both Wal-Mart and Bandai Networks. Reaching almost 1-million users within 12 months of launch, our service included the first subscription-based stored-value business model for wireless content, incorporating prepaid retail cards in all major US retailers and via all US mobile network billing systems. • As COO of LimeWire, led a multi-disciplinary technical, licensing and operations team to demonstrate something few would have believed – that our audience of 40 million unique monthly users would purchase licensed music. • As COO of buzzd, launched the first local-mobile-social network, integrating and visualizing social media activity in 30 major cities into an acclaimed mobile app. • With Realizer Labs, innovated a number of new consumer digital opportunities, including the first AI-driven local mobile social network for consumer product discovery, and an application which extends Twitter for which we received a US patent.
