Summary
Kevin Teo is the Chief Technology Officer and Head of AVPN's Impact Collab platform. Joining AVPN as its first employee in 2011, Kevin has played a pivotal role in the organization's growth. He established its Membership engagement operations, Knowledge Centre, and Deal Share Platform. More recently, he led AVPN's digital transformation efforts and oversaw market engagements across 16 countries in Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, West Asia, and Global Markets. Before his current role, Kevin was a Founding Partner at Volans, a social innovation company with offices in London and Singapore. He also served as Head of East and Southeast Asia at the Schwab Foundation of Social Entrepreneurship and was a Global Leadership Fellow at the World Economic Forum. His earlier career includes nine years in the enterprise software sector in Silicon Valley, Irvine, and Austin, where he worked at two Sequoia Capital-backed startups that were later acquired by Sun Microsystems and Symantec. Beyond his professional roles, Kevin is a Trustee of the Southeast Asian Service Leadership Network (SEALNet), a non-profit he co-founded in 2004 with operations in the US and Singapore. In 2010, he also co-founded Anisya to address employment opportunities and rights for foreign domestic workers in Singapore. Kevin holds an MS in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University, a BEng with Honors in Computing from Imperial College, London, and a Master in Gerontology from the Singapore University of Social Sciences.
