Summary
Lana Harel is a certified executive coach and facilitator who works with C-suite executives, their teams, and organizations to resolve blockages, strengthen performance, and fine-tune individual impact and team dynamics. She has developed a highly specialized methodology that combines strategic systems thinking, empathy, and leadership development to peel away the layers that can obscure the root causes of many of the issues we face at work or in our careers, and rebuild the personal and organizational foundations of performance and results. With a long prior career in technology under her belt, Lana carries a special set of skills and experience that enable her to connect with and support professionals in technology and technical fields in particular. Originally recruited into the high-tech world in 2000, Lana worked as a product manager, software developer, and program manager. In 2005, Google hired Lana as a technical account manager—six years later, she joined their People Development team to pursue her passion for personal and team development, and has never looked back. It was while working with the teams at Google that Lana developed her methodology, and went on to leverage it in her subsequent role as Director of Organizational Learning and Development at Nevro, a medical device company. Today, Lana runs her own firm, a leadership and organizational development consultancy called Inner Sky. Lana holds a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Doctorate in Environmental Engineering from MIT. She credits her deep insight into people and their struggles to her international background and exposure to a wide variety of cultures and languages—her family had lived on 4 continents by the time she was 12 years old.
