Summary
If you are an entrepreneur who has the courage to do what seems impossible, the insights to credibly connect the dots between the realities of today to the seemingly impossible future, and the ambition to build an enduring business around those insights, the Sequoia Team and I are all ears and willing to help you accomplish those dreams. At the core, I am an operator fortunate enough to help teams scale three companies from the formidable founding stages to profitable businesses and to successful exits, such as a banner-advertising network (LinkExchange [MSFT]), a voice recognition cloud platform (Tellme Networks [MSFT]); and a customer service company that just happens to sell shoes, clothing, and other stuff (Zappos.com [AMZN]). I am an applied mathematician and statistician by training, so, in addition to knowing something about bootstrapping startups, I can also geek out on bootstrapping statistics.
