Summary
I've worked with SQL Server almost since I started working in IT in 1999. One of my first IT employers sent me to SQL Server training and I loved working with it and passed the SQL Server Design exam on the first try. In each position I've held, I've had increased responsibility with the databases and SQL Server. I also created a database, web application and SQL Reporting Server reports for collecting security information, server information, and database information which has proven very helpful for our SOX reporting, monitoring the size of databases over time and drive space used and available on every server while at PLLS. My current position invovles more than being a DBA and includes database development, SSIS, and data research and some project management. I very much enjoy the environment at my current position at UC where it's a very diverse work group and there is a good mix of development and administrative tasks. Specialties: I'm a former Health Care worker and am currently working at the University of Cincinnati, but have worked in numerous industries as an employee and a consultant.
