Summary
I spent the last 20+ years building businesses and products at the intersection of media and technology. I have the scar tissue from building early stage companies trying to get to product-market fit. I have also had a front row seat from the opposite end of the spectrum: growing mature consumer internet products at a global scale at Yahoo. As a result, I have a unique perspective on helping companies build and grow consumer media businesses. I am a Dutch national based in LA with extensive international experience. Currently I advise CEO's of media and technology companies on strategy, go-to-market and product / genAI. Previously I was a product leader at Yahoo and before that I was CEO at two VC-backed ventures: Busker (live shopping for creators, based in LA) and Livestation (live TV news, based in London).
